In 1997, certified Pilates instructor Candice Joseph opened Las Vegas’ first independent Pilates studio with the intention of helping Las Vegas residents achieve their fitness goals. She aptly named it Symmetry In Motion. Two of her clients, Tania Molina and Antoinette Modrok, enjoyed learning Pilates at her studio so much, that they each eventually went on to gain necessary training and credentials to become certified Pilates instructors. Since that time, Candice closed the studio, but the three women have remained close friends. In the spring of 2014, Tania and Antoinette decided to open their own Pilates studio. Intuitively, both knew that there was only one name for their studio - Symmetry In Motion. Candice was very honored to learn that Tania and Antoinette wished to keep her studio’s namesake alive. She blessed and approved the idea for the two to use the name.
