I am so ecstatic that you found me!
I have been on such an amazing and blessed journey over the past 7 years that has lead me to this moment with you. I first discovered the wonderful world of Pilates when I was a teenager training in competitive dance. I later was able to truly dive deeper into Pilates training while attending East Carolina University to study Dance Performance and Theater. I never realized how much this method would change my life until just a few years ago. As a dancer, Pilates movement felt natural, and matched the intricate technique I had been taught since I was a young child in ballet. The body awareness, injury prevention, breath work, strength, and tone it provides is what originally attracted me, and still fuels my passion today. I carried my practice through my first few corporate jobs, and then decided it was time to share the love! I quit corporate America, and dove head first into teaching, spreading the Pilates method as much as I could. I started with my Mat and Reformer certification from N.C. Pilates, and then completed my 750 hour certification in Pilates apparatus from Pilates Method Alliance. I'm passionate about many styles of fitness, and have been trained in TRX, Booty Barre, VBarre, Kettle Bell, and Zumba. I also have a love affair with Yoga! I am Hatha Yoga RYT-200hr certified, and it's beautiful influence can be seen in all aspects of my life including my Pilates classes. I love working with all types of people, bodies, and ages, including athletes, dancers, post- surgery clients, and brand new mommas.
I believe fitness and self-love can literally affect every aspect of your being. Your confidence, daily happiness, relationships, and interactions all stem from how you treat yourself. Its time to take care of you!
