Clare first opened her own business in 2000 with the FIRST and ONLY fully equipped Pilates studio Rockland County. She ran that studio for 5 successful years before moving her location to Ridgewood NJ. Clare provides utmost attention to detail, and care for her clients with a staff of well trained Pilates professionals that brought outstanding awarness to the area while Pilates was still in its infancy. There are now more than 10 studios in Rockland and the surrounding areas, and Clare is happy to have had an influence in the popularity it now has. In 2005, Clare re-opened a private smaller equipped studio in Ridgewood, and she taught mat classes for the employees at Wyeth Inc., Art of Motion Dance Studio, and has guest taught at studios across Bergen County, as well as the Jersey Shore. Clare is now teaching privates from her home-based studio in Hawthorne NJ. Clare attended the Colorado PMA conference with Master trainers Kathy Grant, Lolita SanMiguel, Ron Fletcher, Moria Stott, Jillian Hessell, and Cont Ed workshops with Jillian Hessell, Brent Anderson, Jonathan Urla, Alycea Ungaro, and maintains C.E.U.’s with workshops and research in specialty areas such as Osteoporosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Scoliosis, Gait, and Peri-Natal Pilates. Clare continues to study Yoga, and Pilates and looks forward to new and exciting workshops in the near future!
